Building fundraising on now!

How to donate:

  1. Donate funds directly via e-transfer to chcl.treasurer@gmail.com, cash or cheque. See the sponsorship levels here!

  2. Donate via in-kind donations - depending on our construction manager, we may not be able to use all the in-kind donations, but it will help secure the grant!

  3. Don’t have the funds now? Donations over $5000 can be taken via promissory note - once we secure the grant, then we will ask for payment.

community-hub building fundraising & construction

Dear Valued Resident of Cameron Heights and the City of Edmonton,

The Cameron Heights Community League is looking for corporate sponsors and individual donors like you to help raise funds for our community building project.

Our beloved community has a large public green space and three surrounding ravines enabling our enjoyment of nature in all four seasons. A strong community spirit has so far enabled us to build a playground (2015), spray park (2020), a permanent skating rink (2020).

And now the Community League Board of Directors is pleased to announce the project of a Multi-Purpose Community Building to serve as a hub for residents! Some architectural renderings and a summary of the benefits of being a donor are attached to this message.

Your financial support will enable the realization of this shared dream. You are welcome to check it out in the document below!

De-Cluttering? or...

re-cluttering?

The spring garage sale is coming up... This is an effort to coördinate a number of garage sales and hopefully increase your profit by making it easy for bargain-hunters to peruse dozens of sales on the same day & time.

And...

The Haul-it-Away day (sometimes known as Big Bin) is approaching on June 6.

May these events spark joy for you! ;)

Spring clean up (official) event has ended

This year's spring clean-up event was a success, as usual! Yet another testament to the community spirit thriving in Cameron Heights.

But, the need for trash pickup never really goes away permanently. So it is a sure bet that your neighbours will be thoroughly appreciative of even the smallest acts of environmental clean-up which you can perform.

Thank you to all participants!
