The Babysitting course, refreshed and revised, now has a greater emphasis on First Aid skills. The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter. Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum, complete with new science, also provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.

Drug use is everywhere, in the most unlikely places, by the most unlikely people - including in our neighborhood. Stigma and stereotypes would have you think otherwise.
Parents and kids need to talk.
Teachers and kids need to talk.
Husband's and wives need to talk.
Employers and employees need to talk.
FENTANYL IS IN EVERY HIGH SCHOOL IN EDMONTON. Many junior high schools are reporting rhis as well.
This "course" is more of an open discussion, to help you be more aware of the accuracy of what is going on in Edmonton, dispelling the myths that us older people have been led to believe, and giving you the tools to help should you ever be in a situation where your help is needed.
Designed for teenagers (14 and older), post secondary students, parents, employees and employers, grandparents, and more.
There will be a couple of speakers giving information, answering questions, and teaching you how to use Naloxone.
** Naloxone kit and training is included in your registration.

"Naloxone should be thought of like CPR. It is simply a tool, keeping someone alive." - Crystal Toronchuk, In Zachary's Name.
